Metal work, in particular knife making, has always been an interest for me. So when I got the opportunity to work with a local metal worker to learn the basics of blacksmithing I was then able to transfer those skills on my own to be able to pursue my interest in blade-smithing and use this to complete an artefact EPQ for my A-Levels.

This large, hand-crafted kitchen knife is my most recent blade project completion, it has taught me many aspects of the craft and has significantly boosted my knowledge that I will now be able to implement and use within my next project.
